DailyTrace

DailyTrace Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 13, 2026

Terms of Service

1. Use of DailyTrace

DailyTrace is provided as a personal time tracking tool for recording activities, reviewing timelines, and understanding time patterns. You are responsible for how you create, edit, delete, export, and interpret your own activity data.

2. Local-first storage

DailyTrace does not require an account and does not provide a developer-operated cloud account or sync service. Your app data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export it yourself.

3. Export and deletion

DailyTrace may let you manually export activity and time record data as CSV files. Exported files are controlled by you and may be saved, shared, or deleted outside the app using iOS system features. Clearing data inside the app deletes local app data according to the app behavior shown to you.

4. No professional advice

DailyTrace may help you understand personal time patterns, but it does not provide medical, legal, financial, productivity, or other professional advice.

5. Changes and availability

Features may change as the app evolves. The developer may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app when needed.

6. Contact

Privacy Policy

1. App data

DailyTrace stores activities, timers, completed time records, activity settings, display preferences, language preferences, and related app settings locally on your device. The app does not require an account and does not upload your activity records to a developer server.

2. Data not collected by the developer

DailyTrace is designed not to collect your personal activity data. The app does not use your activity data for advertising, tracking, analytics, artificial intelligence analysis, or developer-operated cloud processing.

3. Sensitive device data

This version of DailyTrace does not read your location, contacts, calendar, health data, Screen Time data, photos, microphone, or camera. It does not request these permissions for daily time tracking.

4. CSV export

When you manually export CSV files, DailyTrace creates files that contain your activities and time records. The export action does not delete or change data inside the app. After export, the files are handled by the destination you choose, such as Files, Mail, Messages, or another iOS share target.

5. Support email

If you contact the developer by email, the developer receives the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message content, screenshots, or diagnostic details you include. DailyTrace does not automatically attach your local activity records to support emails.

6. Website analytics

This website may use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand page performance and basic usage. Google Analytics may be enabled only when a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured for the website. These website analytics are separate from your in-app activity records.

7. Data deletion

You can delete activities and records inside the app. You can also clear local app data from the Data & Privacy screen. Deleting the app from your device removes locally stored app data according to iOS system behavior.

8. Children

DailyTrace is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated as DailyTrace evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page before or when the updated app version is released.
